Events in the Week of the Wattle - 2011

Kate Betts of the Hall Volunteer Rural Fire Brigade
was all wattled up to sell Wattle Day badges
on the 27 & 28 August to raise funds for the
purchase of eight automated external defibrillators for each of the Volunteer Brigades Association vehicles. $7,000
was raised thanks to the generosity of Canberrans
