Who organizes Citizenship Ceremonies
Around Australia, most Citizen Ceremonies have been organised and hosted by local councils. Australian citizenship was introduced in 1949.

Citizenship ceremonies are administered by The Department of Immigration and Border Protection and are generally conducted by local government councils.
