Wattle Week year it is on from Saturday 2nd September to Friday 9 September 2022.

The program of events includesa bush breakfast on Saturday hosted by the Lions Club, a fun in the park day for families on Sunday, a mystery bus tour on Sunday, 1/2 day bus tours to our reserves on Mon, Tue, Wed & Thurs and an open ½ day at the school where the students will serve bush foods.

The tours, breakfast, fun day and school visit are free.

Vale Joy Warnes, a driving force behind the establishment of Wattle Week in the Dalwallinu Shire.
Joy lived in Wubin (Dalwallinu Shire) about 250k northeast of Perth, and was a mother of four and a very active member of the community.

Joy was also a poet. Two of wattle poems, 'Wattle Dreams' and 'Wattle Blooms after Rain' can be read on the poetry page
